By accepting these Terms and Conditions of Sale, you also agree to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chateau-domainelafayette.com\/en\/reglement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><u>Domain Rules<\/u><\/a> of Domaine de Lafayette.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ce353a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5ce353a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">1. Description of the Accommodation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-a4c1870-c12b19b e-paragraph-base e-default-p translation-block\" data-interaction-id=\"a4c1870\">Access to the Domaine de Lafayette cottages requires climbing one or three steps. The cottages are rented fully furnished.<br>Each cottage includes the rooms and facilities specified in its individual description.<br><br>A detailed condition report and inventory will be provided in the welcome booklet so that the guest can inspect the accommodation upon arrival. The property owner also carries out an inspection after each guest\u2019s departure.<br>- If any item is found to be missing from the accommodation, the guest must notify Domaine de Lafayette before 8:00 p.m. by email at <a href=\"mailto:contact@chateau-domainelafayette.com\"><u>contact@chateau-domainelafayette.com<\/u><\/a> or by text message at tel:+33 6 65 65 77 66<\/a>.<br>- If no issue is reported within this period, the guest will be deemed to have accepted the condition report and inventory.<br><br>Pets are not permitted. No exceptions will be made, including for small pets, unless expressly agreed in advance and in writing by the management.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-95140d3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"95140d3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">2. booking<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5328820 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5328820\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: 400; color: #777777; line-height: 1.8; text-align: justify;\"><p>Any booking implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.<\/p><p>Once the booking request has been received, a booking summary will be sent to the guest. The booking remains provisional until the amounts due have been received in accordance with the applicable payment terms.<\/p><p>The booking is confirmed once:<\/p><ul><li>Payment of a deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of the stay, or payment of the full amount for any booking made less than 30 days before the arrival date.<\/li><li>Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.<\/li><\/ul><p>A confirmation email is then sent to the guest. It includes a summary of:<\/p><ul><li>The guest\u2019s contact details;<\/li><li>The dates of the stay;<\/li><li>The accommodation booked;<\/li><li>The number of guests;<\/li><li>The total cost of the stay;<\/li><li>The amount of the deposit paid;<\/li><li>The outstanding balance and its due date;<\/li><li>The amount of tourist tax, where applicable.<\/li><\/ul><p>The guest must verify the accuracy of the information provided in the confirmation email and report any errors as soon as possible.<\/p><p>The property owner reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking in the event of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale, non-payment, or the provision of manifestly inaccurate information by the guest.<\/p><p>In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to tourist accommodation services provided on a specified date or during a specified period. The guest therefore has no right of withdrawal once the booking has been made.<\/p><p>The booking is made for the specific number of guests declared at the time of booking. Guests undertake not to exceed the maximum occupancy of the accommodation. Any change in the number of guests must be notified to and approved by the property owner at least 24 hours before arrival.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-291b63f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"291b63f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">3. PAYMENT<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b13eff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1b13eff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: 400; color: #777777; line-height: 1.8; text-align: justify;\"><p class=\"translation-block\">Any booking is confirmed upon payment of a deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of the stay.<br>The outstanding balance, corresponding to the remaining 50%, must be paid <strong>no later than 30 days before the arrival date.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">For any booking made less than 30 days before the arrival date, the full cost of the stay is payable at the time of booking.<br>Upon receipt of the deposit, a <strong>booking confirmation email<\/strong> is sent to the guest. This email summarises the essential information relating to the stay, together with the outstanding balance.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The booking will only be considered final and effective once all amounts due have been received.<br>The <strong>tourist tax<\/strong> is charged in addition to the accommodation price, in accordance with the applicable rate set by the relevant local authority. The amount is indicated at the time of booking and must be paid no later than when the outstanding balance is settled.<\/p><p>If payment is not received within the specified deadlines, the property owner reserves the right to cancel the booking and make the accommodation available for booking again, without prejudice to the cancellation terms set out in these Terms and Conditions of Sale.<\/p><p>The accommodation rate is shown inclusive of VAT and tourist tax. It does not include any optional extras selected by the guest, including, but not limited to:<\/p><ul><li>Welcome meal basket for your arrival<\/li><li>Pool towel hire<\/li><li>End-of-stay cleaning service, unless otherwise agreed.<\/li><li>Private chef service for an exceptional dining experience<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c857ef5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c857ef5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">4. Security Deposit<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4edee24 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4edee24\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: 400; color: #777777; line-height: 1.8; text-align: justify;\"><p>A link will be sent to you by email to arrange an \u20ac850 card pre-authorisation for the security deposit, together with confirmation of your stay dates.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The security deposit is not debited from the guest\u2019s bank account. It takes the form of a card pre-authorisation intended to cover any damage to, or theft from, the accommodation.<br>The pre-authorisation must be completed and validated at least 24 hours before the beginning of the stay.<\/p><p>Any failure to complete the required security deposit pre-authorisation will be treated as a cancellation of the stay by the guest. Domaine de Lafayette will retain the full amount paid for the stay as compensation.<\/p><p>Once the stay has been paid in full and the security deposit pre-authorisation has been validated, Domaine de Lafayette will confirm receipt of the security deposit by email. This email will include the address of the rented cottage, the dates of the stay and the arrangements for welcoming the guest on the day of arrival.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-00d342d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"00d342d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">5. Changes and Cancellations<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-cf244e9-c035253 e-paragraph-base e-default-p translation-block\" data-interaction-id=\"cf244e9\">The duration of the stay is the period specified at the time of booking.<br><br>Any cancellation or amendment must be requested by the guest by email at <a href=\"mailto:contact@chateau-domainelafayette.com\">contact@chateau-domainelafayette.com<\/a>. Whenever possible, the guest should reply to the existing email correspondence with Domaine de Lafayette.<br><br>In the event of a request by the guest to cancel the booking or change the dates of the stay, the applicable charges will depend on the date on which the request is received.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3d82c30 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3d82c30\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Cancellation<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-febbd1a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"febbd1a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: 400; color: #777777; line-height: 1.8; text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li>For cancellations received more than 30 days before the guest\u2019s scheduled arrival date, Domaine de Lafayette will refund 100% of the amount paid for the stay, together with the full amount paid for any optional extras ordered.<\/li>\n<li>For cancellations received between 16 and 30 days before the guest\u2019s scheduled arrival date, Domaine de Lafayette will retain 50% of the amount paid for the stay and 50% of the amount paid for any optional extras ordered.<\/li>\n<li>For cancellations received less than 15 days before the guest\u2019s scheduled arrival date, Domaine de Lafayette will retain the full amount paid by the guest.<\/li>\n<li>In the event of a no-show on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice, the booking will be deemed cancelled. The stay cannot be rescheduled, and the full amount paid will be retained by Domaine de Lafayette. Any subsequent stay will be treated as a new booking and will be subject to the terms and rates applicable at the time of that new booking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Domaine de Lafayette reserves the right to cancel a booking and refund all amounts paid in the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, including damage caused by a previous guest, flooding or essential renovation work. In such circumstances, the guest will not be entitled to claim any additional compensation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The guest may cancel the booking in the event of force majeure. If an accident, hospitalisation, serious illness or any other major and unforeseeable event prevents the guest from undertaking the stay, the cancellation will be accepted upon presentation of official supporting documentation, such as a medical certificate, proof of a serious accident or a death certificate.<\/p><p>\n<\/p><p>The guest must provide evidence of the event constituting force majeure within a reasonable period and no later than 14 days after the scheduled start date of the stay, except in duly justified exceptional circumstances.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In the event of non-compliance with the \/reglement\/House Rules<\/a> and\/or the Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable to the rented accommodation, the accommodation provider may terminate the stay immediately and automatically, without any refund or compensation. The guest must vacate the premises immediately.<\/p>\n<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-81cc05e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"81cc05e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Changes<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-0986c88-55f506d e-paragraph-base e-default-p\" data-interaction-id=\"0986c88\">The dates of the stay may be amended subject to the agreement of both parties and the availability of the accommodation. Any request to change the dates must be submitted more than 30 days before the originally scheduled arrival date.<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3cd4d9b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3cd4d9b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">6. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-8625cea-f34376c e-paragraph-base e-default-p translation-block\" data-interaction-id=\"8625cea\">Check-in at Domaine de Lafayette is available between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on the scheduled arrival date. Check-out must take place before 11:00 a.m.<br><br>Any late departure will incur a charge of \u20ac80 for each additional hour or part thereof. This amount will be deducted from the security deposit.<br><br>Under no circumstances may the guest claim any right to remain in the accommodation after the end of the booked stay.<br><br>The guest agrees to leave the accommodation clean and tidy and to sort all waste into the appropriate bins. Any used crockery must be cleaned or placed in the dishwasher. Used household linen must be placed on the floor at the entrance to the accommodation.<br><br>If excessive cleaning is required as a result of misuse or failure to comply with these instructions, \u20ac100 will be deducted from the security deposit.<br><br>If any damage or theft is identified, the costs incurred in repairing the damage or replacing the relevant furniture, equipment or item will be deducted from the security deposit. An additional charge of 10% will be applied to cover administrative and banking costs.<br><br>If these costs are lower than the amount of the security deposit, the remaining balance will be returned to the guest. If the security deposit does not cover the full amount of the costs incurred, the guest agrees to pay the outstanding amount.<br><br>If Domaine de Lafayette raises no objection within 48 hours of the guest\u2019s departure, the accommodation will be deemed to have been returned in a condition consistent with the condition report and inventory. The security deposit pre-authorisation will then be automatically released.<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fdb0beb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fdb0beb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">7. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-ed54fc9-96dfda3 e-paragraph-base e-default-p translation-block\" data-interaction-id=\"ed54fc9\">An electric vehicle charging station is available to guests during their stay, subject to availability.<br><br>Use of the charging station is offered at a <strong id=\"e-msq1myow-52lusqj\">fixed rate per charging session<\/strong>.<br><br>The rate is <strong id=\"e-msq1myow-24cdefb\">\u20ac15 including VAT per charging session<\/strong>.<br><br>A charging session means the continuous use of the charging station by the same vehicle, from the time the vehicle is connected until it is disconnected. Any subsequent reconnection of the vehicle constitutes a new charging session and will incur a new fixed charge.<br><br>The fixed charge is payable regardless of the amount of electricity consumed during the charging session.<br><br>The guest will be informed of the applicable rate before using the charging station. Charges for completed sessions may be added to the outstanding balance for the stay or invoiced separately.<br><br>The charging station is reserved exclusively for guests staying in the estate\u2019s cottages. Its use is subject to availability and to the instructions provided by Domaine de Lafayette.<br><br>The guest agrees to use the charging station in accordance with the instructions provided and to vacate the charging space as soon as charging is complete.<br><br>The guest remains responsible for the vehicle and charging cable and will be liable for any damage resulting from improper use of the charging station or the equipment provided.<br><br>Domaine de Lafayette may temporarily suspend access to the charging station for maintenance, in the event of a malfunction or for safety reasons.<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0225aca elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0225aca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">8. DOMAIN RULES<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5921b59 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5921b59\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style=\"font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: 400; color: #777777; line-height: 1.8; text-align: justify;\"><p class=\"translation-block\">You can view the House Rules governing our accommodation on <a href=\"\/en\/reglement\/\" target=\"_self\">this page<\/a><\/p><p>In the event of a breach of any of these rules, the accommodation provider may terminate the stay immediately and automatically, without any refund. The security deposit will also be retained by the property owner. The guest must vacate the premises immediately, without prior notice from Domaine de Lafayette.<\/p><p>In the event of a dispute, and following an attempt to reach an amicable settlement, the competent French courts shall have jurisdiction in accordance with the ordinary rules of jurisdiction and the applicable consumer protection provisions.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-87f8ed4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"87f8ed4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">9. IMAGE RIGHTS<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-5822474-58d4907 e-paragraph-base e-default-p translation-block\" data-interaction-id=\"5822474\">The estate includes areas accessible to guests as well as a private residence occupied by the property owners and their family.<br><br>Guests and anyone accompanying them agree to respect the estate\u2019s private areas, which may not be accessed without prior permission.<br><br>Guests are strictly prohibited from entering these areas or, without prior permission, photographing, filming or recording in any way the interior of the private residence, the private gardens and other private areas, or the property owners, their family members or their guests in connection with their private lives.<br><br>Photographs and videos taken from areas accessible to guests must not infringe the privacy of the property owners or their family. The publication online or on social media of any image clearly identifying the private areas of the estate or their occupants is also prohibited without prior permission.<br><br>Guests may freely photograph the areas made available to them, provided that they respect other occupants of the estate and comply with these Terms and Conditions.<br><br>The use of drones anywhere on the estate is prohibited without the property owners\u2019 prior permission.<br><br>Any breach of these provisions may result in a request for the relevant photographs or videos to be removed. In the event of a serious or repeated breach, the stay may be terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale.<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-692fd99 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"692fd99\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">10.
